Character Voice Actor for Animation, Video Games, Dubbing, Audiobooks & Commercials

Twenty-five-plus years of characters, creatures, narrators and one very opinionated robot. Everything on this page is my voice, my performance or my production... from 100+ animated titles for My Story Animated to Crow T. Robot on MST3K Live, national spots for Taco Bell, Pepsi and Xbox, and 30+ audiobooks.

I'm a character actor at heart. The utility player. The guy who'd rather play five roles in your project than the one lead. (That's great news for your budget.)

Casting something? Send me your script (or one page of it) and I'll send back a custom read. No forms. No Calendly. (Unless you love Calendly. I do.)

Animation & Character Voices

From YouTube animation to animated shorts and series, I build characters from the inside out: who they are, what they want, and how they'd sound saying it. It's never about "funny voices." It's about fully realized characters with a point of view... heroes, villains, sidekicks, creatures and the occasional talking dog. (NYAV Post once called me "the Andy Serkis of animated dogs." I've decided that's a compliment.)

I've voiced 100+ titles for My Story Animated, often playing multiple characters in a single episode, with accents and dialects from Brooklyn to Belfast to Down Under.

The True Story of How Thor Got His Hammer | Loki | animation

My Story Animated | nine characters, one actor (ME) | animation

'Twas the FRIGHT Before Christmas | Nate as The Crypt Keeper | character voice

Valdo & Strag | Agent 203 | character voices

Dubbing & ADR

Dubbing is acting with handcuffs on: match the mouth, match the emotion, and make it feel like it was always in English. I voice multiple characters per project, and I direct dubbing and ADR sessions too... so I know exactly what the director on the other side of the glass needs.

Kung Fu Pork Choppers | English dub | multiple characters

Video Games &
Performance Capture

I've been voicing games since 2006, starting with a stable of NPCs and growing into characters, combat efforts, barks and branching dialogue. I know the rhythm of a game session and how to keep a character consistent from line one to line one thousand.

And because I'm also a performance capture performer, I can give your character a body as well as a voice. I performed the puppet character in The Gunstringer (Xbox 360 Kinect) and have performed live, real-time motion capture in front of theme park audiences.

Angelo and Deemon | Angelo | video game voice acting

Puppetry & MST3K

Before I was a voice actor, I was a puppeteer. (I still am.) I'm one of only two performers to play both Crow T. Robot AND Tom Servo on Mystery Science Theater 3000, with credits for The Jim Henson Company, Sesame Street, Disney and Universal.

MST3K Live | Crow T. Robot | puppetry + voice

9 Years to Neptune | Mullen | puppetry + voice

Squarespace Ads | Boss & Codey | puppetry + voice

Audiobooks ,Narration & Audio Dramas

30+ audiobooks across every genre, from middle grade to thrillers, including titles for James Patterson and Claudia Gray. Characters are where I live, so a cast of forty in one book is my idea of a good time.

The narration I'm proudest of: full textbooks for visually impaired students, junior high through high school, cover to cover.

Dr. Critchlore's School for Minions | audiobook narration

The Mighty Odds | audiobook narration

The Eternal Shadow | audio drama short

Commercial, Promo & Corporate

National campaigns for Taco Bell, Pepsi and Xbox. (Plus Verizon and Mazda, but three sounded punchier.) TV promo, movie trailer, e-learning, corporate narration, IVR and on-hold. The warm, real, conversational read your audience actually trusts... or the big "In a world..." when the moment calls for it.

UnDigital | TV spot | commercial voice over

The Wendy Williams Show | TV promo | promo voice over

The Draw Shop | walkthrough | company voice over
